Are You up for the Challenge, by Dr. Ogi Ressel

Warm hellos to everyone!
Ok...I have to brag just a bit!
As you know, I just finished teaching
Module I in Clearwater only three
weeks ago, and doctors who attended
are having incredible wins in their
practices already:
"I haven't called you because
I have been too busy seeing
tons of patients!" - Dr. Peter D.
"Why did you wait so long to get this Program up and running?
Patients are gobbling this up like crazy!!!" - Dr. Michael P.
"The verdict is in - this week alone, we collected more than we
ever have. This will be my best month ever!" - Dr. Andy G.
I can't help thinking that this could have been you! Perhaps another time......
Ok.....let's get into my THOT:
I simply love Spring! And it is only five weeks away! Imagine!
The green you see at springtime is seen at no other time of year - it is fresh. It is vibrant.
It is poised for Greatness. Spring is a time of renewal! It is a time of budding. A time of
rebirth.
And a time of waking up from a deep slumber. It is a symbolic time. A time of creative energy.
We look to Spring with anticipation.
Why is that? What does it mean for us?
It signifies a deep connection that we have with Innate - it is a renewal.
Think of this for a moment: We are all connected to the vibrational energy of the Universe.
We are all connected to it at a level that is difficult to explain. Someone once said that we are
Human Beings having a Spiritual experience. I disagree. Wayne Dyer said that we are spiritual
Beings having a Human experience. We are on this Human ride in the Amusement park of the
Universe. And our ride is measured in nano-seconds. A blip. A small wrinkle in the fabric of Life.
So.......Spring is the perfect time for you to reconnect with Innate - the energy of the
Universe - and reaffirm your purpose.
It is also the perfect time for you to make a promise to yourself that you'll not rest on your
laurels until you've helped as many people in your community as you can. And you do this by
connecting with people. Not by selling, not by fear tactics executed brilliantly in the name of
Christ, not by glitz, not by marketing your brains out, and not by trying to "convert" them!
No.
You do this at a level of communication where you are able to look into the eyes of your patient
with infinite love and understanding and have a total knowingness. And they read you! You are
connected at a level which transcends trying to sell them on Chiropractic. Where you practice at
a level where people need you - you do not "need" them. You are no longer needy!
I love that concept!
You see...getting what you want is not about more "stuff". No. It is about returning to what
you are. It is about reconnecting with the energy which is the Universe - and you are an integral
part of it - just like your patients. It is about your patients recognizing that same vibrational
force inside you as resides inside each of them. When that happens, few words need to be
said - they "get" what you do and what you are. You see...if you realized the Perfection that you
are, you'd also realize that you cannot fail! It is not an option!!
Ok....I know that this is a bit "heavy duty" but it is vital for you to rise above your fight for
survival and let people know what you do and are.
Let me give you an example:
A few years ago, I met a gentleman outside of our seminar room in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., who was
attending a boating seminar next door to ours. He was engrossed in reading our Module II
notes left on the registration table. And he was amazed at what he read.
He said, "I wish I knew that Chiropractic can help children affected with Colic. I would have had my kids
to a chiropractor years ago, had I only known."
This man was in his early eighties.
The sad reality that struck me was that it had taken him eighty years to discover the fact that
Chiropractic can help children suffering with Colic. Eighty years!
Was that his fault?
What is the matter with our profession that we can't tell people what we do?
Are we afraid of being ridiculed?
Are just afraid?
Are we worried about our image?
Are we shy?
Do we think that people "get" what we do by osmosis somehow?
Are we worried that we might lose respect if we open our mouths to speak? Is that it?
Do we think that the patient's family MD will tell them?
Listen....In case you didn't get this from my earlier THOTS: This is not some cool
profession that you were lucky to stumble onto. No. This is a Cause. A crusade! You
have a mission. Yes, you are on a mission - to help as many people in your lifetime as you
can - especially children! Your mission, which I'd like to remind you in case you forgot
you had accepted, is to save as many as you can! Are you doing it?
Are you living your mission? Or are you just wimping and schlepping around feeling
sorry for yourself?
Listen.....Reconnect with that amazing power that turns the planets.
Reconnect with your patients. Communicate with them what you do. You need to get
this: You are the only thing that stands in the way of total pharmaceutical domination of
the planet.
Some doctors I meet are afraid to tell their patients what this "chiropractic thing" is all
about for fear that they may not be liked. Listen......I need to tell you this - you are not in
practice to be liked. This is not some social club. You are not here to make friends.
You are in practice to save lives. To save children and their parents. It is either you or
be subject to human experimentation at the hands of the medical-pharma armada.
Period. End of story!
Are you up for the challenge?
Warmest wishes,
Dr. Ogi Ressel

For those who have not yet signed up for my Kids First Pediatric & Family Newsletter, you are
missing an incredibly powerful way of communicating with your patients about what you do and
the scope of what you do. It is also an amazing way of letting your patients see another side
of you - a doctor who is passionate and very educated in his field - to see you as incredible
- a good thing to have patients discover!
The February issue deals with "Overactive Bladder Disease" and the March issue will focus on
Fever.
What it means, why kids have it, and will slay some long-held dogma - not to be missed!
You will need to sign up online. It is easy. And amazingly reasonable.
