Warm hellos to all of you!
Something different....
I received the following from Dr. Jeff LaBelle and Dr. AmyTheisburger,
close friends of mine and PEP doctors. The message is so powerful
that I decided to have it as the THOT For Your Week.
If The Earth's Population were 100 People
If we could shrink the Earth's population to a village of precisely 100 people,
with all the existing human rations remaining the same, it would look
something like this:
57 Asians
21 Europeans
14 West Hemispherians (is this a word?)
8 Africans
48 males
52 females
70 non-whites
30 whites
89 heterosexual
10 homosexual
1 undecided
6 possessed 59% of the world's wealth
and all 6 would be from the United States
80 live in sub-standard housing
70 cannot read
50 suffer from malnutrition
1 is dying
1 is being born
1 has a college education
1 owns a computer
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness...you are more
blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of
imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation....you are |
ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest,
torture, or death,....you are more blessed than 3 billion people on the planet.
If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead,
and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish in
your kitchen...you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If your parents are still alive and still married...you are very rare, even in
the U.S. and Canada
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and feel truly thankful....
you are blessed because while the majority can, most do not.
If you can hold someone's hand - hug them. Or even touch them on them
shoulder....you are blessed because you can offer a healing touch.
If you can read this THOT....you are truly blessed, as over 2 billion cannot
read at all.
Some of you are thinking; "Well, that's nice and I feel sorry for all those
have-nots, but I still can't get those new patients into my office, and still
can't reach my goal - my new BMW."
I have news for you - you will always have a difficult time. Why? Because you
are driven by Ego and are not connected to the force which runs the Universe.
The energy of creation, of manifesting in your life that which you desire, is all
connected to a Universal Truth. In order to be connected to it, you must be
abundantly thankful for its blessings
....but that's a topic for another THOT.
